An elegant pair of 1950s Italian armchairs attributed to Gio Ponti for Casa & Giardino. The design is distinguished by the sinuous line of the shell-shaped backrest, with vertical cane workmanship that enhances the curved, harmonious silhouette. The turned, solid wood legs, with their sculptural profile, complete the structure, lending it solidity and character.
The original gold-colored damask fabric upholstery is still present, but shows signs of aging and requires restoration or reupholstery.
