This elegant set of six SQ chairs, designed by Willy Rizzo in the 1970s, is characterized by an exceptionally clean and architectural composition, this specific SQ model is currently out of production.
Each chair is built around a slender brushed steel frame with a square-section profile, whose continuous geometric lines define both the structure and the visual identity of the piece. The front legs descend vertically from the seat, while the rear structure continues downward and bends forward at floor level, creating the distinctive rectangular sled-like profile visible from the side.
The rigor of the metal construction is softened by the gently curved backrest, which follows a subtle concave line and introduces an elegant sense of movement into an otherwise strongly geometric design.
