Item description
Particular and elegant Art Deco coffee table, was handcrafted in walnut wood of the highest quality between 1932 and 1935 in Austria. Has two round floors, the upper one is the primary support surface, while the other secondary helps to make very solid the entire structure. The solidity is also given by the strong base that is not like the one we usually find on this type of table, but much more stabile and more fascinating design. The upper top has been veneered in orange wedge with walnut-burr that enhances the colors, the flaming and the grain of this beautiful wood. A coffee table of this shape and size is not easy to find, with its refined curvilinear structure, is a perfect and typical example of Art Deco. The table is in good condition, we have not considered making any restoration because its superficial veiled patina and its small imperfections make it really seductive and fascinating and attest the antiquity and authenticity. If aesthetically you want it a little brighter, we can recommend a light polishing reviving that you can easily make yourself with a product for furniture based on wax.
