Sideboarding “Trento” was born from the collaboration between Nils Jonsson and Troeds, one of the Swedish manufacturers that contributed to the definition of Scandinavian design in the second half of the twentieth century. Made of teak, the piece combines a wide, well-proportioned structure with an articulated front, where sliding doors and drawers create an asymmetrical composition.
The storage arrangement makes the furniture particularly suitable for the living area or dining room, offering space for organizing dishes, linens, documents or everyday objects. The handles integrated into the wood keep the front clean, while the tapered legs visually lighten the structure.
Teak is the true distinctive element of the project: its grain crosses the front and enhances the simplicity of the design, giving depth to the surface without resorting to decorative elements. A significant example of the Swedish modernariat of the ’60s, designed to be functional but capable of characterizing the environment.
