An elegant cylindrical majolica albarello vase, tapered at the center, attributed to the historic Laterza factory (Apulia) and dating back to the 18th century (early 18th century).
SHIPPING NOTES: DUE TO THE NATURE OF THE PIECE, PICKUP IS RECOMMENDED. In the event of shipping, after careful packaging, I assume no responsibility for the integrity of the piece upon arrival.
The vase features a rich front-to-back decoration painted in the typical Laterza blue monochrome over a grayish-white glaze. On one side, it features the cursive initials A.R.
Condition: The object is in excellent condition for its time, with no chips or missing parts on the rim of the mouth or foot. It has no restorations or visible cracks. There is only a slight superficial firing streak on the outer base, which does not affect the structural solidity or the interior of the vase in any way.
