A splendid polychrome majolica pharmacy jar dating back to the 18th century, attributable to the refined production of central and southern Italy. One side bears the inscription D.F.F.
-Condition: Excellent condition for its period. The ceramic body is sound and completely intact: no chips, breaks, missing clay, or restorations. The only notable signs are a few superficial, physiological losses of glaze on the upper lip and foot, which are entirely natural for ancient majolica.
