Item description

Antique Italian painting of the seventeenth century. Oil painting on canvas depicting religious subject Holy Family of excellent pictorial hand. Antique frame, not contemporary, in wood and plaster finely carved and gilded, of beautiful decoration. Painting of great size and fabulous decor, for antique dealers, decorators and collectors of antique religious art. Holy family of exceptional quality, in beautiful patina, characterized by a Jesus already child close to his mother with the symbols of the passion and the faces of the characters finely represented. Work that has undergone during the twentieth century an intervention of conservative restoration, rintelo, replacement of the frame and resumption of color in some places (see photo). Frame with some signs of time, structurally sound with color lifting (see photo). Canvas in good condition. Light painting H 121 x L 94,5 cm.
