Item description

Ancient Italian painting of the 18th century. Oil painting on canvas depicting a religious subject Saint Ursula of excellent pictorial hand. Twentieth century wood and plaster frame, nicely carved and gilded with beautiful decoration. Painting of seventeenth-century character, on a dark background, finely represented thanks to a fabulous use of light and shadows (see photo). Saint of great pleasure for antique dealers and collectors of ancient sacred art. Work that has undergone conservative restoration, re-tinting and colour restoration in several points (see photo). In good condition with some signs of restoration. Light painting H 70 x W 55 cm.
