This popular and famous wingback chair is attributed to the Czech designer Miroslav Navratil. This chair was designed in the context of the world famous EXPO exhibition in Brussels in 1958, where the Czechoslovak pavilion was a phenomenal success.
Laminated glass frame covered with latex foam and fabric. Wooden legs fixed in place with a transverse wire. Acclaimed at the 12th Milan Triennale in 1960.
The chair is generally in good original condition, the fabric shows signs of wear and age
