Item description

Antique Italian oil painting on copper from the first half of the 19th century. Religious work depicting the Adoration of the Magi, of a fine pictorial hand. The Madonna and Child, Saint Joseph and the numerous characters are represented in the smallest details, the quality of the drapery is remarkable and the composition is reminiscent of Bassano's works. Modern wood and plaster frame, carved, chiselled and gilded, with beautiful decoration. Painting for antique dealers and collectors of sacred painting on copper. It shows some signs of time, overall in good state of preservation. Light painting H 32 x W 38.5 cm.
