Item description

Antique Italian painting of the seventeenth century. Oil painting on canvas of Roman school depicting particular subject of popular taste Shepherds with horses and donkeys of good pictorial hand. Wooden frame not contemporary carved, lacquered and adapted to the painting, beautiful decoration. Painting of excellent proportion, easily placed in different points of the house, for antiquarians and collectors. Painting that has undergone a conservative restoration, rintelo, replacement of the frame and resumption of color in several places (see photo). It presents two interventions of color recovery to be completed (see photo) one placed under the donkey at the bottom and the other to the left of the shepherdess (see photo). Work on the whole in fairly good state of preservation. To be restored. Light painting H 47 x L 55,5 cm.
