Item description

Antique Italian painting from the 17th century. Oil-on-canvas work, "prima tela", depicting an animated landscape with towers, good painterly hand. Modern wood and plaster carved and gilded frame of beautiful decoration. Painting of great size and impact, finished in great detail, rich in characters and decorative elements (see photo). Work that has undergone over time minor conservation restoration and color restoration with small patches placed on the back of the canvas (see photo). In beautiful patina, it has some slight color lacks and small tears in the canvas. Ideal painting to put in a living room or studio, for antique dealers, interior decorators and collectors of antique landscapes. In fair condition, in need of restoration. Size without frame 82 x 95 cm.
