Item description

Antique Italian painting from the 17th century. Oil painting on canvas of Roman school depicting religious subject St. Peter of excellent pictorial hand. Nice size painting with saint represented with yellow mantle and keys (see photo). Oval painting on rectangular canvas (see photo) of good brightness and great contrast with the dark background. Painting of great character, for antique dealers, interior decorators and collectors of ancient sacred art. Painting that has undergone a conservative restoration, re-tinting, replacement of the frame and restoration of the colour in some points (see photo). Overall in good condition with some small signs of time.
