Antique Italian painting from the 18th century. Oil painting on canvas depicting genre scene. View with architecture and characters in popular taste with an excellent pictorial hand. A painting of beautiful size and excellent proportion, ideal for a salon or study, for antique dealers, interior decorators and collectors of antique landscapes. Fabulously dynamic work, characterised by figures and clothing in Flemish/Northern French taste (see photo). Painting part of a pendant (see photo and ask for block price if available). Painting complete with 19th century frame, not contemporary, finely carved, chiselled and gilded in excellent quality (see photo). Work that has undergone conservation restoration, re-staining and colour repainting in places (see photo). In good condition with some minor signs of time. Light painting H 71 x W 96 cm.
