Item description
Italian painting from the first half of the 20th century. Oil painting on canvas, first canvas, depicting stunning view of Venice from the canal with clock tower, basilica, bell tower and ducal palace in the background. Painting that develops horizontally, adorned by the presence of numerous characters, boats and galleon (see photo). Work signed at bottom right F. Guarana (see photo) lacking authentication. Wooden and plaster frame finely carved and gilded (bronze tint) with beautiful decoration. A painting of excellent proportions, ideal for a salon or study, for antique dealers, interior decorators and collectors of views of Venice. Work as part of a pendant (see photo and ask for block price if available). Structurally sound frame with some small signs of time (see photo). Painting in good state of preservation. Light painting H 57 x W 117 cm.
