Item description

Italian painting from the first half of the 20th century. Oil on canvas painting depicting still life with fruit of a good painterly hand. Nicely sized and attractively decorated painting adorned with a carved and gilded wood and plaster frame (bronze tinting) with some signs of time and small drops in the decoration (see photo). Work signed lower right (see photo) signature under study. Horizontal, beautifully decorated painting, ideal for inclusion in a living room or parlour. Canvas that has undergone conservation restoration, re-staining and colour restoration in places (see photo). Painting with a halo in the top left-hand corner (see photo), in need of restoration. In fair condition with some signs of time. Light painting H 60 x W 86 cm.
