Round walnut coffee table, 1930s
The round top is supported by solid legs which in the lower part are connected to another small top giving excellent stability to the whole. The table was made in an artisan workshop in Lissone (Monza-Brianza-Italy) between 1930 and 1935. The craftsmen used the wood of "Juglans regia", called "national walnut" or "European walnut", a wood very valuable, among the best in the world in terms of quality, ease of processing and resistance. The coffee table is in good condition, the black stain that can be seen in the photo on the top is not a defect but a natural inclusion of the wood. Measure diameter 46 cm, height 67 cm.
