Item description

Old Italian painting from the 19th century. Oil on canvas painting depicting Armiger of good painterly hand. Nice size and pleasant decoration for antique dealers, interior decorators and collectors of 19th century paintings. Modern carved and gilded wooden frame with fabric and wooden passe-partout. Work with a difficult-to-read signature in the lower left-hand corner (see photo) under study. Painting of excellent proportions and great character, ideal for inclusion in a salon or study. Work that has undergone conservation restoration, re-staining, replacement of the frame and repainting in places (see photo). In good condition with some minor signs of time. Painted light H 58 x W 37 cm.
