Dutch neoclassical period flap, late 18th century. Made of oak, with the domed front in several tiers containing the four drawers and the flap door. Except for the carved ferine paw feet and carved medallion ribbon on the apron, the entire surface is veneered in walnut burl with typical floral inlays with central vase on the door. Inside complex scarab with drawers and secret compartments. Original fittings.
