Wooden wall sideboard by Vittorio Dassi, 1950s
A splendid and very rare Italian wall sideboard from the 1950s, a truly unique piece well designed by Vittorio Dassi most probably in four hands with Gio Ponti, with whom he worked for many years. Its uniqueness lies in the carved shape of the drawers and the two flap doors, one of which has been finished with a vertical wooden 'grissinato' insert. This is a striking and versatile sideboard that would be a great addition to any modern home or office décor. It is in excellent vintage condition, fully restored recently and now ready for use.
