French wedding headboard with original cast iron frieze. Assembled using curls from a 19th century French cot, disassembled and reassembled in the matrimonial headboard, without modifying the design of the latter, all joined together with U-bolts nailed on the back as originally. Original cast iron frieze, representing a woman's face. Iron coloured coating, wax protection.
