Item description
Italian painting from the second half of the 19th century. First oil-on-canvas work depicting a copy of the famous painting Madonna and Child by Antoon Van Dyck (1599-1641). Rectangular frame and canvas, Madonna and Child painted within an oval (see photo) adorned with light reflections. Painting of excellent luminosity characterized by bright colors for antiquarians, interior decorators and collectors of sacred art. Painting that has undergone conservation restoration with three patches placed on the back of the canvas (see photo). Work overall in good state of preservation.
