Item description

French Charles X sofa, made in the 19th century of fine exotic wood with maple inlay grafts in a leaf motif. The backrest has an arched outline with wood placed crosswise and is characterized by curves and counter-curves; it is interrupted in the central section by an inlay with birds. The upholstered armrests are also contoured with an inlaid wood frame. The feet have the classic curvilinear pattern typical of this style.
