Item description
Description: French Empire mahogany feather chest of drawers with a black marble top from Belgium. The front is punctuated by three large drawers adorned with beautiful gilt bronze spouts finely chiseled in a floral motif. The under-top drawer turns out to be smaller than the others and is flared upward. The two cantons feature two mahogany feather columns ending in finely chiseled gilt bronze capitals and base. Condition: Restored by our master craftsmen with traditional handmade shellac and alcohol method. Provenance: early 19th century France. Measurements: 135x65 H90cm.
