Item description

Antique solid walnut sewing table with openable top with mirror and compartment with compartments, dating from around 1890. Under the compartment, secret space covered with wallpaper. Central drawer with three compartments and original working key. Turned solid walnut base. Excellent original condition. Slight wear and patina consistent with age and use. The surface has been polished and hand-finished with shellac.
