Item description

Oil painting on canvas depicting Saint Jerome in his study, made in Italy in the 17th century. It is rich in details, including lion, book, cardinal's hat and crucifix. The painting has been restored, restretched, the frame has been replaced and colors have been restored in some spots. Antique frame, not contemporary, carved, lacquered and adapted to the painting; it shows some signs of time and a small wooden lack in the upper right corner. The painting without the frame measures 73 cm x 57 cm.
