Item description

A vase produced by Seguso in Scavo glass, a type of ornamental glass with a rough surface and a matt finish imitating antique glass, similar to that of hollow glass. The effect is obtained by sprinkling the surface of the incandescent glass, after shaping it, with a mixture of high melting oxides and low melting salts. The outside is thus opaque, while the inside is shiny.
