Item description

Elegant Lombard trumeau from the mid-20th century. Double-bodied cabinet in Barocchetto style carved in walnut, ebonised wood and fruitwood. Trumeau for a salon or study fitted with three drawers and a calatoia in the lower body. Flap with four small drawers inside, a central document compartment and a good-sized writing tabletop and service (see photo). Upper body complete with two small pull-out shelves for candles and two doors with antiqued recessed glass (see photo). Interior fitted with two small shelves plus base shelf. Cabinet complete with one working key (upper body), flap key missing. Trumeau for antique dealers and interior decorators, supported at the front by two curly feet (see photo). Shows some signs of time, overall in good state of preservation.
