Louis XV mirror in gilded and carved wood, 19th century
An elegant Roman mirror from the second half of the 19th century, entirely carved, sculpted and gilded with gold leaf. The mirror is presented as a triumph of carved wood with a movement from bottom to top. The cimasa is a succession of rocailles volutes and plant racemes with an amphora with flowers in the centre. The mirror is made of mercury salt glass and is coeval with the wooden frame. Excellent state of preservation, measurements: 67 x 100 cm. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
