Pair of French Napoleon III candlesticks in gilded bronze and enamel (cloisonné). The circular base rests on lion paws, while the two putti hold a caduceus and a hammer respectively. The central stem of a truncated cone shape ending in spires is entirely covered in enamel. In excellent condition. Provenance: France (1860/80). Diameter 16 cm, height 20 cm.
