Yves Edgard Muller d'Escars was a painter of figures, portraits, flowers and landscapes. He studied with Bouguereau, Constant and Robert-Fleury. He exhibited at French salons and won the Grand Prix de Rome in 1903. His paintings are now part of the collections of national museums all over the world.
