Item description

Large Italian painting from the beginning of the 20th century. First oil painting on canvas, depicting interior scene with musician with a good painting hand. Painting of great size and impact, with pleasant decoration. Non-coeval wood and plaster frame, carved and gilded, of beautiful decoration. Frame showing some minor colour fading (see photo). Canvas with a vertical crack in the bottom right-hand corner (see photo), in need of restoration. Painting overall in fairly good state of preservation. Light painting H 121 x W 92 cm.
