Item description

Floor lamp model Sistema Flu with triangular base in black plastic. The two neo lights are adjustable and have a cylindrical structure in black painted metal. Produced by Luci Italia in the 1980s and designed by Rodolfo Bonetto. Signed at the base. Rodolfo Bonetto (Milan, 18 September 1929 - Milan, 1991) was an Italian designer. He was one of Italy's leading exponents in the field of industrial design (eight Golden Compasses) and with his creations contributed to the international affirmation of Made in Italy in the post-war period. With a high school education, he abandoned his career as a jazz drummer to devote himself to drawing. His passion for drawing manifested itself thanks to his paternal uncle Felice Bonetto, a famous motor racing driver in the early 1950s, who introduced him to motoring, and the young Bonetto, who was passionate about this field, began drawing sketches of cars. Self-taught, he started as a design consultant at Pininfarina, where he worked from 1951 to 1957, and his career as a designer began in 1958, when he founded his own design studio in Milan. During his long career as a designer, he created projects in the most diverse fields of industrial mass production: household appliances, car bodies, sanitary ware, machine tools, electronic devices, musical instruments, televisions, suitcases, hi-fi systems, furniture and lighting.
