Important early 19th century Napoleonic Empire chest of drawers of Lombard origin. A piece of furniture with features that are rare to find, starting with the total plating in select walnut, the columns with gilded wooden sphinxes, and a prestigious banded top that contributes to its uniqueness. All well-proportioned and intact, including coeval locks. Length 136 cm, depth 59 cm, height 102 cm.
