Item description

Italian painting dated 1930. Oil painting on panel depicting still life with shell and apple with a good painterly hand. Painting signed lower right S. Bonfantini (see photo) referable to Sergio Bonfantini (1910-1989) lacking expert's authentication. A work of limited size for antiquarians and collectors with a non-coeval wood and plaster frame carved and gilded with beautiful decoration. Frame shows a colour fade in the lower right-hand part (see photo). Painting in overall good state of preservation. Light painting H 33.5 x W 43.5 cm.
