Old Neapolitan gouaches with a coeval frame belonging to the early 20th century. The scene depicts the famous grotto of Capri seen from its deepest point. Providing a perspective backdrop are four men gazing at the beauty of the grotto as well as a small boat with two characters on board. Giving depth to the whole scene is the entrance to the grotto illuminated by the sun's rays. Provenance Naples, early 20th century. Measurements: 52 x 44 cm. Certificate of Authenticity.
