Item description

Napoleon III coffee table/planter in fine exotic wood, made in France in the 19th century. The curving under-top band has a dense leaf-pattern inlay interspersed with bronze medallions with Sèvres porcelain plates depicting putti in the center. The lid, also richly inlaid, can be removed by finely chiseled bronze handles. The curving feet are embellished with garlands and profiled also in gilt bronze. Complete with certificate of authenticity.
