His vision of "making" is very similar to that of the Palaeolithic painter who made his graffiti in the darkest part of his cave not for an aesthetic purpose but to satisfy an internal psychic need to alleviate fears and anxieties. D'Orta has an idea of artistic matter as something that is lost or, on the contrary, that regains its potential by forcing itself into a waiting zone.
