Item description

Bedside table veneered in maple, inlaid with various woods on top and front to form curls and equally edged on the sides. Top can be opened and front simulating two drawers without a chain, only the first of which can be opened "like a door" concealing a fabric-covered interior. Shaped under-top band, truncated pyramid feet. Early 19th-century Lombardy.
