Bowl/centrepiece by Giovanni De Simone in hand-modelled and glazed terracotta, 1960s. Two pieces available (price per piece). Both can be used as centerpieces or as serving bowls, especially for pasta. In fact there are two recipes written above, "Aeolian sauce" and "Sicilian-style pasta with sardines". On the lower part there is the wording "De Simone 64" (probably referring to the year 1964) and on the other the wording "De Simone Cefalù" (a splendid ancient city near Palermo). They may show slight traces of use but can both be considered in excellent original condition. One of them is 11 cm high, the other 10 cm; the difference is due to the handmade process. The diameter is the same.
