"Often in history, the provisional, the economic have brought reason, cleanliness and truth to things". It is with these words that Luca Meda communicates his approach to design, thus introducing us to Via-Vai, the chair he designed in 1992 for Molteni. It is an unusual chair that requires an in-depth study of the three views (front, side and back) to understand its structure and where it hides. The proposed group of two chairs has a structure of the front legs, back legs and connecting crosspieces in walnut, while the seat and back are in burnt-brown canvas, the latter embellished with leather straps. The price of € 295.00 refers to a single chair. The products are for display: the frame is in excellent condition, while the upholstery, which is original, shows slight discolouration due to window exposure.
