Item description

Fumoir capitonné armchair proposes the elegant armchair introduced in the catalogue of the twenties. It is inspired by the 18th century cockpit armchair with low backrest, particularly suitable for upright posture. It is equipped with brass front wheels and features lozenge stitching on the backrest. The structure is in seasoned beechwood. The springing is made with steel springs tied by hand and resting on jute belts. The padding is in rubberized horsehair. The construction technique is the same as the original model; the covering is in full-grain calf leather. Limited edition, this is the model n. 995. Designer Renzo Frau
