Antique French Napoleon III chest of drawers in exotic wood with marble top. The front has two large drawers removable by means of finely chiselled gilt bronze handles. The side drawers have a convex shape and bear the same geometric design as on the front. The two cantons are embellished with bronze elements with leaf motifs and end with skilfully chiselled bronze socks. The two cabriole feet are connected by a mixtilinear band with an exquisitely chiselled gilded bronze frieze frieze in the centre.
Restored by our master craftsmen using the traditional handmade shellac and alcohol method. Origin France 19th century.
