Item description

Oil painting on panel by Maurizio Goracci depicting a female figure on horseback. Signed in the upper right corner. Maurizio Goracci (1941), aka MaGo, is a Roman painter of figurative subjects. The work depicts a nude woman wrapped in a pink cloth, sitting on a grazing horse. MaGo's figures, while well-defined, are always set against a surreal background, shaded in acidic color ranges, which lends a sense of the fantastic. The work is presented in a frame. Size without frame: 50 x 40 cm.
