Murano glass ashtray attributed to Archimede Seguso. Delicate pink opalescent glass ashtray composed of a bowl on which a small bird is placed. In the style of the glassworks of Archimede Seguso due to the type of workmanship. Besides being a functional object, the ashtray is highly decorative and ideal for adding a touch of refinement to one's surroundings. Archimede Seguso became a master glassblower at the age of 17, and founded his own furnace, which in 1933 became Seguso Vetro d'Arte. Very important for the company's fame was the collaboration with the designer Flavio Poli, who was its Artistic Director for a long time. The object is in excellent conservation condition and has no defects.
