Large bowl or floor ashtray in green parchment. Designed and executed by Aldo Tura, Italy 1960s. Together with artists such as Piero Fornasetti and Carlo Bugatti, Aldo Tura (1909-1963) certainly belongs to the mavericks of Italian design. Tura concentrated on the application of a specific material. Tura founded his workshop in Milan in 1939 and has been active ever since. Dimensions: 19 cm diameter x 41 cm height. Label on base. Good condition consistent with age and use. Defects and stains, check pictures.
