Item description

Great French painting of the second half of the 19th century. Oil painting on canvas, in the first canvas, depicting the return of the soldiers after the battle, good hand painting. Picture of Risorgimento character with numerous soldiers on horseback masterfully painted. Frame of the 20th century in wood and plaster carved and gilded, of great decoration. Painting of monumental dimensions that develops vertically, ideal to be inserted in an important hall or study. It has a signature on the bottom right during the study (see photo). Work that has undergone a conservative restoration during the twentieth century, on the whole in good condition. Painted light H 150 x L 111 cm.
