Transparent and blue submerged Murano glass bowl, 1960s. The "submerged" glass technique was invented by the designer Flavio Poli and the glassmaker Archimede Seguso in the 1950s; consists of creating objects by layering different colors of glass, to obtain a finished product in which the colored glass appears to be actually immersed in a transparent main body. The bowl proposed here, of medium size, is very well preserved. It is perfect as a pocket emptier or as a decorative touch on coffee tables, sideboards, bookcases and more.
