Small vase in green, yellow and transparent Murano glass, 1960s Italian design. Beautiful Murano glass vase, designed by Flavio Poli for Alessandro Mandruzzato (Murano, Italy, 1960s). This small vase is made of thick glass. A beautifully faceted glass. It is extremely decorative. Mandruzzato is known for producing exceptional pieces of art glass in geometric and cubic shapes. This vase was made using the submerged glass technique. The technique is called submerged glass and will become Favio Poli's signature technique. It is done by superimposing several layers of glass with different textures and colours. The multi-coloured effect is impressive! Due to its small size, this precious vase is a true work of art in glass and can be placed in any room of the house. Excellent vintage condition. No marks or signatures present. Excellent condition, price negotiable.
