Item description

Group of three engravings "The Imprudences of Cupid", early 19th century. Engravings in the dotted manner (etching) printed with colored inks (coloured in plate). Subjects: Elle commences à l'écouter; Elle céde à ses enchantements di lei; Il fuit en riant de sa pain of her. Engraver: Jean-François Prot, French engraver active towards the end of the 18th century. From the subject of Ludwig Rullmann (1765 - 1822). In beautiful 19th century Empire gilt frames. The prints are accompanied by the certificate of authenticity.
